Real pages from a sample kit. Guest names are examples; story text blurred so we don't spoil it.
    • Host guide

A prep checklist, a timeline for the night, what to read aloud each round, spare hints if the room goes quiet, and what to do if someone can't come.

    • Invitations

One per guest, with their name, their character, a costume idea and your date and place.

    • A booklet per guest

Their character's story, secret and relationships, and a page for each round, with their name on the cover.

    • Clue cards

One strip per guest, marked by round. You hand each strip over uncut, so a host who plays never reads a clue.

    • Name tags

Character names with who plays them, so everyone knows who's who.

    • Accusation sheets

One per guest, to name the killer, the means and the motive before the reveal.

    • Sealed solution

The killer's confession and how it was done, near the end of the PDF, for after the accusations. The host can play too.

    • Award certificates

Best Costume, Best Performance and Master Sleuth, dated for your party, to hand out at the end.

Made for your party, not for a pack size

    • Many kits are sold for a set number of players, so a drop-out or an extra friend means reshuffling the game.
    • With a ready-made kit you match guests to characters and write every invitation yourself.
    • A boxed kit takes days to ship. This one downloads the moment you pay.

    How a party runs

    1. 1

      Before the party

Send each guest their invitation with their character and costume idea. Print the kit and cut the clue cards into one strip per guest, without reading them.

    2. 2

      Round 1: the body

You read the opening. Guests read their first page, mingle in character and share what they've been told to share.

    3. 3

Rounds 2 and 3: the clues

Clue cards come out each round. Secrets surface, alibis crack and suspicion moves around the room.

    4. 4

      The accusation

Everyone writes down who did it, how and why. Then you open the sealed solution and the killer confesses.

    Questions

    How are the mysteries made?

With AI, and checked by software. Each mystery is written with an AI model and edited before it goes on sale. Then a program checks every guest count it plays: the clues handed out must be enough to find the killer and clear everyone else, and no booklet or clue may mention a character nobody is playing. Your guests' names are filled in automatically when you build your party; no person reads your kit. The mysteries are new, so they haven't had years of parties behind them: if yours doesn't work, tell us and we'll refund you.

Do I need to print it?

Yes. It's a PDF for home printing on US Letter paper, and it prints fine in black and white: two pages per guest's booklet plus about 20 for the host guide, cast list, invitations, clue cards, name tags, accusation sheets and awards (about 45 pages for 12 guests, fewer if you text the invitations instead of printing them). Each guest's clue cards come on one strip you hand over uncut.

What if a guest drops out or someone joins?

Re-render your kit free until the party: change the guest list and download the new version, up to 10 times within 30 days of buying. Any count the mystery plays works. Mark guests who might cancel when you build your party: they get optional characters the game can do without, so a cancellation doesn't reshuffle everyone.

What if some guests are shy?

Mark them "prefers a quiet role" when you build your party. Every mystery has quieter characters who mostly listen and answer, and they go to those guests first.

    Can the host play?

Yes. Nothing the host reads before the reveal says who did it. The solution is in its own sealed section at the end.

How long does a party take?

About 2 to 2½ hours, in 3 rounds that fit around drinks, the main course and dessert. The host guide has a timeline.

    What's in the Party Pack?

Everything in the kit, plus: a place card for each guest with their name and character (cut and fold into a tent), an invitation picture for each guest to text or email, a menu card, drink recipe cards (at least two without alcohol), a sign for the front door and table signs, all themed to your mystery. It's a PDF and a set of images you download and print at home: nothing is shipped, and nothing in it gives the mystery away. Bought the kit already? Add the Party Pack from your kit's page for $10.

What happens to my guests' names?

They're used only to make your kit. They're deleted 2 days after you build your party if you don't buy, or 30 days after you buy, so download your kit. They're never shared or used to train AI models. If you tell us how your party went afterwards, we keep those answers (not your guests' names) to improve the mysteries.

    What if I'm not happy?

Email help@foundingaccess.app and we'll refund you in full.
